David joined S.A.F.E. Management in September 2019 after retiring from an extensive law enforcement career to manage operations of the new 24/7 security operation. Previously David had worked with S.A.F.E. Management at Super Bowls LII in Minneapolis and LIII in Atlanta, leading 24/7 and gameday security operations.
David graduated from Radford University in 1990 and found his calling to serve the community by entering the Law Enforcement field. David began his career in Law Enforcement in 1997 as a Patrol Officer for the Prince George’s County Police Department. Over the next 22 years, David rose through the ranks serving in supervisory positions in various units to include Bureau of Patrol, COPS, and The National Harbor Unit which is a highly trafficked tourist destination. As he rose to the rank of Lieutenant he was assigned to the Special Operations Division where he served as Commander for the Crisis Negotiation Team and the Canine Unit and ultimately as the Commander for the Special Services Section from 2014 until 2019.

David has continued his education throughout his career by gaining experience in Dignitary Protection from the US Secret Service as well as Conflict Negotiation School with the FBI. David also has had extensive training in the Incident Command System.
