Originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, Alex joined S.A.F.E. Management in June of 2023 following the completion of his Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University.
In 2020, Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Michigan State University. At Michigan State, Alex was the Assistant Sports Director for Impact 89 FM, the University’s student radio station. Here he organized, managed, and produced multimedia broadcasts of Michigan State sporting events, including the 2019 Big Ten Basketball Tournament and the 2019 Pinstripe Bowl. Following graduation, Alex held roles as a Campaign Field Director for Kolehouse Strategies, in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, he helped organize and execute a city-wide political canvassing campaign that resulted in approximately 200,000 total voters canvassed by the end of the campaign. In the summer of 2021, Alex took on the role of Operations Intern with the Lansing Lugnuts. This position consisted of managing a small group of part time, in game custodial staff as well as performing general stadium maintenance and other operational duties. In the fall of 2021, Alex enrolled at Central Michigan University to pursue his Master’s Degree. It is here where he went on to work as an office intern for Central Michigan’s Student Athlete Academic Center. The internship consisted of working with student athletes, managing their tutoring and mentoring appointments, and performing regular grade checks to ensure NCAA eligibility was maintained.
