Chris grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. In December of 2021, Chris completed his graduate certificate in Sport Security Management from The University of Southern Mississippi and the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4).

Growing up in Baltimore, Chris started his career in the sports industry, working in various roles for the Major League Lacrosse team, the Chesapeake Bayhawks. While studying at York College, Chris interned with S.A.F.E. Management in the Baltimore Office during the summer and fall of 2012. Chris also served as an athletics administration intern within the Florida Gulf Coast University Athletic Department during the spring of 2013 and was there during the Men’s Basketball team’s historic run in the NCAA Men’s Final Four.

After graduating from York College, Chris moved to Atlanta, where he worked on the event management side of the sports industry. He helped to plan and manage several large youth sports and collegiate lacrosse games within Atlanta and the southeast. Additionally, Chris was involved in bringing the first ever professional lacrosse game to Georgia, and later served as the Director of Operations for the Atlanta Blaze of Major League Lacrosse.

While in Georgia, Chris worked for several years in event security at the Georgia Dome before closing in 2017. In the summer of 2017, Chris joined the Event Security team at then SunTrust Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves, where he worked during the 2017 season.

In August of 2017, Chris rejoined S.A.F.E. Management in the Atlanta Office, helping to open Mercedes-Benz Stadium as a member of the event security team. After a year Chris had an opportunity to join the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Department, where he assisted with 24/7 Security. Chris also worked at State Farm Arena, the home of the N.B.A.’s Atlanta Hawks. At State Farm Arena, Chris assisted with building the Event Security department, which has become one of the NBA’s top Event Security teams. Chris served as a supervisor and later was promoted to lead supervisor for the arena court, floor, and back-of-house areas, while assisting with all other aspects of the Event Security operations on event days.

In February of 2022, Chris accepted the position of Security Manager with Nashville Soccer Club, where he was responsible for venue security at the new GEODIS Park.  He was part of the operations team that opened GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the U.S. and Canada.

In July of 2022, Chris re-joined the Baltimore Office as a Security Coordinator for Oriole Park at Camden Yards, helping to manage the 24/7 security and event operations. Chris is excited to rejoin the S.A.F.E. Management team and continue growing and learning in the security, sports, and entertainment industry.

Chris has worked various events throughout his career and helped open two new stadiums. Some of the events that he has worked on include the Preakness Stakes, National Football League games, Major League Soccer games, SEC Football Championship games, Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowls, 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, 2018 NCAA March Madness South Regional in Atlanta, 2018 MLS All-Star Game, 2018 MLS Cup, 2021 NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta, and Super Bowls XLVII and LIII. Chris has also assisted with managing several large concerts throughout his career, including Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Kenny Chesney, ATLive, The Chainsmokers, and many others. Chris also helped with the security for the FEMA Covid-19 Mass Vaccination site at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
