John started life’s journey in Japan while his parents were in the military. After a couple of years the family settled in Southern Maryland where John spent most of his childhood. He fell in love with the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. No matter where John went he stayed true to his passion of Maryland sports.
In 1999 John followed the footsteps of his grandfather and mother serving in the Navy until 2002. John was stationed on board the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN-69 as an interior communication electrician. During his time, he was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary medal for Operation southern watch. John was also given a certificate of appreciation for his work with the White House Communication agency.
After serving in the Navy, John relocated to Arkansas where he attended the University of Arkanas- Fort Smith studying Business Management. While in Arkansas John fell in love with the sport of bowling. He began to work at a 72-lane bowling center in various roles assisting in the operations. While there he played a key role in the operations of many large amateur and professional tournaments. John has also won tournaments and has a high game of 299 to his record.
In 2015 John moved back to Maryland working in hotel operations for Hilton and Marriott hotels. He attended the front office academy with Hilton. As a front office manager for Marriott, his team and himself were awarded the Spirit to Serve award for their guest satisfaction.
In 2017 John took his love for sports to S.A.F.E Management as event security for the Maryland office. On a Ravens gameday he worked on the courtesy team managing guest issues and de-escalation. Most gamedays he could be found assisting with crowd management for the player ingress and egress. He had the opportunity to work 3 super bowls with the travel team in Atlanta, Miami and Tampa Bay.
In 2024 John came on board full-time in the Maryland office as a Security Coordinator for 24/7 security of M&T Bank Stadium. He currently lives in Parkville with his wife and daughter. He has a son that was born with cerebral palsy who lives in Arkansas.
